Over the summer, I had the exciting opportunity to be a Graphic Design Intern at Shaffali Skincare. With a more multidisciplinary approach to the job, I was fortunate enough to work on several unique projects that further enhance the Shaffali Skincare branding and values.
Audience:
Those who are spiritual and enjoy the holistic-based qualities of Shaffali Skincare. Shaffali Skincare is a woman-owned, ayurvedic, and holistically-inspired luxury skincare company. Each product is intended to be experienced in a meditative ritual, complete with ritual steps on each package. In addition to the variety of luxurious, natural-based skincare products, Shaffali Skincare aims to empower consumers both physically and spiritually. Each unique project I participated in was centered around these values.
Process + Outcomes:
One of the primary tasks I handled was the small rebranding of Shaffali’s visual identity. Gaining inspiration from the spiritual properties of this company, I created a vibrant and cohesive branding guidelines booklet to share the company’s essence and branding applications. From a bold new color palette to increasing lifestyle photography, the new face of Shaffali Skincare is all things vibrant.
These vibrant, exciting changes are seen on Shaffali.com, where my vibrantly designed pages showcase products, events, publicity, and more. I was also able to design a series of email newsletters, soon-to-be released product labels, and a company offerings book. Through my work, I aimed to showcase the variety of values, offerings, and versatility Shaffali Skincare has to offer. These projects became inspiring for me as I gained professional experience through the lenses of spirituality and wellness. It was a pleasure to work closely and build connections with Shaffali Miglani throughout the duration of my internship.
