BurgerFi x Funky Buddha: A Wave of Flavors

A Positively Delicious Partnership

BurgerFi is a fast-casual burger restaurant distinguished by all-natural burgers and high quality ingredients. Located in Southern Florida, Funky Buddha is a far-out brewery focusing on enhancing the drinking experience. 

Together, BurgerFi and Funky Buddha teamed up to showcase a Funky Buddha IPA in the BurgerFi environment. The Fi-P-A will be available in BurgerFi locations across Southern Florida. 


Overview:

I created a conceptual label showcasing the distinct flavors of this Hazy IPA while honoring the ongoing collaboration between both brands and their native region of Southern Florida.

Audience:

Floridians who are looking for the perfect beer to compliment their burger.


Process + Outcomes:

I wanted to further understand what people would experience when visiting the Funky Buddha taproom to taste this IPA. 
I organized caterogized my findings into three categories: flavor profile, use cases, and geography.

I created several concepts based on my findings, with a range of safer to more conceptual options. I asked myself, “What would interest consumers in this label vs. any others in sight?”
I continued revising the stronger ideas and ultimately headed towards a playful + regional approach.

This was such an exciting + exploratory project that I can’t wait to see in stores!
